I can't see any controls or expected controls are not showing

GENERAL NOTE: ControlNet is NOT supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer. Nothing will function within Internet Explorer. Please use a modern browser such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge etc. before continuing.

Sometimes ControlNet may not show controls for any of the following reasons:

1. Reset any filters that may be applied
ControlNet remembers filters in between page changes and sessions. It may be that an applied filter is preventing Controls from being shown.
Simply bring up the right hand sidebar (if its not already showing) and click the Reset to Defaults button:

The screen will refresh and the default filter of due date today will be applied. You should now see any controls due.

Note: if the controls were due in the past or in the future, simply change the due date filter to the appropriate date range on the right hand sidebar. Alternatively you can click the fast link buttons towards the top of the grid to change the filter criteria automatically:

2. Ensure you have a hierarchy selected
ControlNet requires a hierarchy to be selected before showing controls. It may be that no hierarchy is selected and ControlNet is simply showing an empty grid.
Simply bring up the right hand sidebar (if its not already showing) and click a hierarchy under the By Organisational Structure dimension (a selected hierarchy will have a light blue background):

Once a hierarchy has been selected, the grid will load any controls due.

3. Ensure your username has the correct permissions to see the expected controls.
Within ControlNet, a user can only see and action controls they have been given permission to see.

The support desk is not authorised to maintain or edit permissions on behalf of clients, so please check with your in-house ControlNet champion or super-user first. They can ensure your profile has been linked to the correct hierarchy and permissions. Please copy and paste the following questions in an email to the super user for them to check:
  1. Does the user have the correct role for the activity they are attempting (e.g. Operator, Owner etc.)?
  2. Is the user assigned to the correct hierarchy for the controls they wish to see?
  3. Is the user a member of the team or the individual allowed to see or action the control?
